Thoughts on this stainless Futurematic anyone?

Postby futurematic » Mon Jul 01, 2019 9:55 am

Hello all. I recently picked up this stainless Futurematic which measures 37mm - appears to be a European model.
I am able to unscrew the back ring to remove the gasket & the case top lifts off.
However I'm timid about trying to gently pry the movement from the case back, in order to view the movement.
As I have only seen a few of these models in the wild, I would appreciate any feedback.
Also is this dial configuration correct to this model (10, 20, 30 markings in the wind sundial) for instance?
Thanks in advance!

Runs well but pretty dirty - will need a bath. Wonder what the serial number dates it to?

Looks all correct to me.

We do not see too many of these in the US.

1951-1952 date for the movement, cased in the watch lightly later.

Thank you Zaf; darn I was hoping it would date to 1954. Rough guess as to value?
By "cased in the watch slightly later" are you suggesting the movement and case did not leave the factory together?
