Thoughts on this Jaeger watch....

Hi folks. Would love some wisdom on this piece. Found in a local pawn shop near me. Thanks. Any thoughts on history or value etc welcomed.

Probably NOT genuine, though there were some weird Jaeger stamped stuff in the 1970s. What does the dial look like?

Hard to say! It could be a french market watch. A lot of weird stuff was done in the 1970s using movements made by other manufacturers.
Either way it's not super collectible even if real. Any indication it's made in France?

No nothing at all. The movement is stamped Jaeger but to be honest it's not the most appealing of pieces to wear. I thought it might be a little find but appear not lol,
