Need help identifying my vintage JLC

Postby Stimob » Tue Sep 19, 2017 6:26 am

I have an old JLC I know nothing about, other than it's gold. Can someone try to identify it? Model, year and value?

-Thanks

I visited my local surveyor today who did a quick test and check of the watch. The watch runs perfectly fine and has no need for a service. He told me the box is from another watch, as my watch is a mechanical watch, and not a quartz. But he was not able to provide any more info regarding model or value in today's market.

Would be grateful if anyone would be able to provide any info.

Also added a photo from the case with serial numbers.

It would be case reference 14201.21 I'm not sure it will have a model name.

Thanks zafbasha! Any idea of what it might be worth?

I think on a piece like that, the gold value will be the majority of the value. So maybe have it weighed with the movement still in, so how many grams it is, and that'll be your rough answer.
