JLC Mark 11 Questions

Hello everyone,

I’ve recently obtained a JLC watch which after some research, I have discovered that it is a mark 11 model.
The stamp on the back has 6/b 346 and 2181/48.
I passed on this information to a vintage watch expert.
According to him, the hands are not original to the watch as they are the cathedral style hands and that they have been replaced as a 6b/346 should have squared edges to the hands. Also, he said that the second hand should not be lollipop shaped and also square - plus it should be white.

Due to this, he suggested a price he’d be willing to buy if for which is lower than I anticipated.

I have found a JLC watch with cathedral style hands online and I understand there were different variations of hands.

Please could someone who has knowledge of these watches lend a hand and give their assumptions?

Thanks for your help.
