Jardur project

Post by Klfulop » Sun Sep 23, 2018 3:04 pm

<t>Hello there, I have a Jardur wristwatch project that I aquired in a junk lot from an estate sale. <br/>
<br/>
The crystal is missing and the second hand is broken. It has clearly been poorly treated in the past. <br/>
<br/>
Inside markings read “Pilgrim Electrc Corp Seventeen 17 Jewels Unadjusted Swiss” and YES the second letter “i” is missing from the word Electric. There is “IXK” stamped on the adjuster bracket and the number “713” stamped on one of the lugs. The number “30713” is stamped on the outside of back cover. <br/>
<br/>
The inside of the back cover is marked “Staybrite” and “Pigrim Electric Corp Swiss” this time electric with both “i”s. There are also some light engravings inside possibly from services ? With possible dates of “52” and “62”. Also a distinct “B446”</t>

Could you give me some details about this watch and also some estimation of value “as is” versus restored.

Just wanted to add the dimensions and a couple of more pictures.

The dial measures approximately 32mm and the case is 45mm lug to lug.

It will never fetch top dollar with a poor dial or a refinished dial, so I'm not sure I would put down too much money to restore it.

As it is, it's probably worth around $700 for parts.
