Valuation for this 24 hour JLC

Post by slique12 » Sun Jan 28, 2018 8:11 pm

Hi Zaf,

Happy new year. I've been looking for these 24 hour watches for some time, and found one that seems to be in decent shape but the crown seems incorrect. Could you comment on its authenticity, as well as what would be a reasonable price to pay?

Thanks so much.

I think it looks oK, crown my have been replaced. It's not a 24 hour movement, just a 24 hour dial.

About $1000-1200 maybe? I haven't had one in a while either.

I wonder if you have any historical images of this reference to confirm? These watches aren't found in large numbers and the few I have found online seem to have four different styles of crowns. One style is on the watch above, and I am attaching three more styles below.

Thanks again for your assistance.

And here is another example that is in nicer condition than rest. It seems the crown on this one seems identical to the watch I'm evaluating.

Hi Zaf,

Can I get your opinion on the authenticity and value of this Memovox? I dont have many details from the seller outside of these pictures.

Thanks for your help.

Im a new member on the forum - thanks for having me.

Im seriously considering this JLC and wanted your thoughts on its originality and opinion on its appraisal.

Info from seller:
- dial, hands and movement are all original
- movement is the manual Calibre P469A
- the watch is in 31mm size which I find surprising as I usually see these watches between 33-34mm

I have a couple more pics of the crown and the case if that helps.

Thanks for your time and help.
