Looking for inner case back for 68 Polaris

Post by pea96 » Tue Mar 28, 2017 8:56 am

Hi,
I am new to this board but have been a lurker for awhile. I just picked up a 68 Polaris and there is some corrosion on the inner case back. It still functions and obviously no one can see it but if one were available I would change it. There is a little on the outside case back but not so bad that it bothers me
Does anyone one know if they are available and if so where?
Thanks
John

They're almost always corroded. Just leave it alone. The odds of finding a lose back are near zero and refinishing it would diminish the value of the watch.
