Memovox Identification?

Postby HydeParkBill » Tue Mar 23, 2021 11:07 am

Hello, I found this Memovox when my dad passed away. I plead complete ignorance as to the movement (good or so-so?), what type of value it has or could have, and if it's worth I am guessing a fairly significant refurbishment. It does run consistently but sometimes stops then restarts if moved. It is missing the crystal and one crown, and the dial could use some work. The hour markers I haven't seen on any other watch in my search. I can't even tell if it's a men's or women's watch. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Bill

Men's watch, it has an alarm function. Not much you can do to improve the dial condition other than repaint it which diminishes its value.
I'd say the current value restored around $1200-1300.

Check here for approximate costs to do that:
