No they left together, just in Europe the model came out after the US. I wouldn't worry too much about when a watch was made, since it could easily take 1-2 years after the movement was made for it to be cased in a watch. Value, sort of depends on the dial in your case, maybe high $2000s more obviously if the dial were perfect.

No. The Futurematic wasn't marketed in Europe until 1953. It was common practice for movements to be produced and sit in inventory for a time.

It is possible that the watch was originally sold around 1954.
