I'm pretty confident that dial has been refinished, but hard to say 100% with the photos being a little blurry. Typically, on the 1-31 of the calendar, the 6 and 9 are open, not closed. The tick marks on the sub seconds are not that heavy. It's a good job though, just some details appear to be off.

Thanks Zaf, the dealer who has the watch for sale in Italy says that he bought it from a man who worked in JLC and he found that dial in nos condition in a warehouse...
I will ask for better photos.
