Help in Validating Authenticity and Valuation

Postby georgekoh » Thu Oct 29, 2015 3:04 am

Hi, I've come across this watch online and would appreciate some help in authenticating and having a valuation on it.
It looks to me as it has been recased and refinished!
Serial/ Case number: 7532 643118
The manual wind movement has 17 jewels, is signed Le Coultre co. and numbered : K818-1cw.
Case Material: 10k Gold Filled
Case Diameter: 30 millimetres
May I know around which year is this model and what's the valuation on it? Thanks!

It's genuine, but I don't think the gold filled watches will be all that valuable. It's probably around 1960. What is the movement serial number?

Should be 1060936.
Will solid gold be worth more?
How much you reckon this watch is worth?

That serial would date the movement to 1955. I don't think it's worth more than $300-400.
