Just purchased two JLCs...how to find out production year?

Postby MOL » Wed Jan 31, 2018 6:03 am

Dear Forum,

I am a newby to this forum but has had 3 JLCs in my collection for a while, Master Mariner 60s, Memovox 815 and a Valjoux 72 Chrono. Now I just brought these two onboard, but I find it quite difficuklt to get mor info. I would appreciate any support in where to look. Thanks in advance
M

Sub second one has a P480/C movement with serial 659276
Center second one has a P478/C movement with serial 855223
Stainless steel and measures 33.5mm w/o crown

When are they produced, are there a specific "model name" for these, have they come with a crown with JLC logo from the outset?
