Early Memovox crown question

Postby Tony C. » Fri Sep 18, 2015 6:16 am

Hi Zaf (and other collectors). Could you please enlighten me on the crowns used for the bumper Memovox models produced in the late '50s? I have seen some that were not signed, but appeared to be otherwise correct. Were they shipped both with and without signed crowns during this period? If so, was there any discernible pattern (e.g. model references, etc.), or is it simply hit and miss?

Thanks very much in advance.

Regards,

Tony C.

There are definitely alarms that came with unsigned crowns, typically the earlier ones, say before 1960 or so.
