Matching Buckle for a 1949/50 JLC Wristwatch

Postby Newfoundlanddog » Thu Apr 27, 2017 7:31 am

That’s me again. Is this a matching buckle for a 1949/50 JLC wristwatch? Is the shape at least correct?
I am grateful for any help.
Kind regards
Günter

They probably didn't have signed buckles in 1949, but maybe by the mid 1950s they did, so yes, it's close. It's probably a circa 1960 buckle what you are showing.

Here's another option -- both are in 14mm

That is what I’ve got after all. 16 mm width and gold plated originally. I have had it nickel plated for my steel watch.

Günter
