Vintage Jaeger LeCoultre mens watch - Need Help with

Postby setrefzer » Mon Jul 13, 2015 12:08 pm

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has any idea on my recently inherited JLC vintage mens watch - 18K gold (watch & strap). My dad had it and before him my grand dad. Bought in Switzerland but no idea as to what year. It's in great conditions and recently serviced by a watchmaker. it's also very thin.
I@m hoping to get an idea as to value and age....many thanks in advance to anyone who can help...warm regards...setrefzer

On an integrated bracelet piece, from my experience it won't by a TON more than the gold. So the gold value is a good starting point + few hundred dollars over that. For a precise date, I'd need the movement serial number though it appears to be early 1960s.
