Warning of faked military watches

Postby Ilja » Tue Jun 09, 2015 9:35 am

Just discovered a new sort of faked/interpretation JLC military watch.
At this point the 2 observed watches were offered as marriage-watches (at least to the author), but this will surely change soon.
They look like WWW watches with correct caseback and dial, but feature a new aftermarket steel case.
Movement is a re-worked 12 1/2 Lines handwind subsecond JLC product with additional and working stop lever added.
These watches have a dust cover and are praised as anti-magnetic which they are in fact not.
Both watches were spotted at the Cologne watch fair.

I.
