Vintage LeCoultre info?

Postby Von Sak » Fri Apr 17, 2015 6:12 pm

Any information as to the age and value of this LeCoultre Automatic Master Mariner watch would be greatly appreciated. It belonged to my dad who passed away in 1960 and hasn't been worn since then. The case is stamped '10k gold filled D&A'. It is 35mm in size, and does run when moved. I don't remember what happened to the band. I'm interested in selling it but not sure whether to auction it or set a price, possibly with a make offer option. Thank you in advance for replying.

Thank you for the reply. Sounds like this particular model in 10k gold filled was perhaps LeCoultre's more economic product line.

About a week's pay for a blue-collar guy like my Dad, and just about the equivalent of what it's worth today. No doubt he was very proud of his LeCoultre watch. Thanks again Zafbasha for your input.
