JLC 6B/159

Postby Hallibag » Tue Apr 14, 2015 2:44 pm

Hi, everyone:

I've just joined this forum, being a new first-time owner of a Jaeger-LeCoultre watch. This is a 6B/159, with MOD dial and cal. 450 movement. Now, I was wondering, is it possible to get an idea of manufacture date for this watch, other than by paying Jaeger-LeCoultre 250 Swiss francs to look up the watch in their records? The movement's serial number is 143563, and the watch's RAF serial is A20330. Thanks!

The movement was made mid 1941 so the watch is probably around 1942.
