Memovox E855 Watch Box & Papers - Any Contradiction?

Postby $2Collector » Tue May 31, 2022 2:43 pm

Picked up this package last week.

Movement cal K825. Case ref E855.

Movement serial 1741384. Case serial 1016117.

The accompanying papers indicate that Artland Watch Company sold the watch on 12 August 1966. Artland, located in Hong Kong, did not put the watch serial number on the bill of sale. The bill of sale otherwise matches the watch.

What is this watch's date of manufacture? Does this date contradict the papers?

Movement and case pix available upon request.

It corresponds to a 1965 movement manufacture date so it is plausible.
