Jaeger Lecoultre cal 145 open face pocket

Postby tentate » Thu Sep 16, 2021 9:04 pm

Hi Everybody!
I've got an open face gold Jaeger Lecoultre "Knife" watch. Serial number 30.XXX
My question is about the dial, it is written "Jaeger Lecoultre" al twelve, and at six it is written "Weil"
Does anybody know what this means?
Thank you very much!

"Weil" would be the retailer, usually a jeweler or a department store.

Thank you very much Zaf!
I thought it had to do with Raymond Weil
Kind regards

It's probably some period retailer, unless Raymond Weil was not founded until 1976.
