Re: P478/c JLC

thank you Zaf. It was listed fairly high but is now being auctioned. Yes I noticed the dial is scratched too. I also noticed it doesn't have swiss marking on dial. I inquired and the seller says there is a lot of debate as to why some military or military style watches of this kind have swiss markin...

P478/c JLC

I've been eyeing this 1940s jaeger it looks really beautiful. The seller says it is 100% original and it sure looks it to my untrained eye. Can you I get your opinion Zaf on its authenticity and whether the dial is original? Thank you!

Vintage jaeger military?

Hi, I wasn't sure if I should post this here or in the vintage JLC forum but here we go. I've found this watch. It has a JLC movement in it but aspects look off like the hands. Please see pictures and let me know your thoughts. Thank you!

Re: What is this watch?

Thank you very much Zaf!

The movement is beautiful and it is keeping very good time. I can't complain about the repainted dial as I got a nice deal on it.

What is this watch?

Greetings All:

I am trying to identify what year and model this is. I am not sure if it is authentic or not. I have attached the pictures of dial and movement. Thanks in advance for your help!
