Re: Vintage JLC power reserve

You do indeed have an E163. As far as I know the factory didn't know the exact production figure for this model. My guess is that it's less than 500 in total, steel and gold. So pretty rare.

Re: Vintage Breitling Unitime 1765

I think an NOS dial always increases value. A case polish usually decreases it unless there was some real nasty scratch. Nicely lumed hands are a wash.

If it have a NOS dial, service, etc. maybe around $6000? What are your thoughts?

Re: another memovox

Repair rates are here:

The orginal crowns are not always there, but there are plenty of 14k alarms.

Re: question on 916 Speedbeat

Hard to tell for sure, but it does sound like a mismatch. I'd need to see photos.

Re: another memovox

It really depends on the style and exact model, but $2k might be a little high, maybe more like $1600 for a manual wind US market alarm.

Sorry but I do not have anything for this model in particular. The sub seconds can be trimmed.

Re: Help in Validating Authenticity and Valuation

That serial would date the movement to 1955. I don't think it's worth more than $300-400.

Re: Help in Validating Authenticity and Valuation

It's genuine, but I don't think the gold filled watches will be all that valuable. It's probably around 1960. What is the movement serial number?

Sorry, I don't have any info on it. It's pretty rare, not sure I've had one in the past 10 years.
