Hi, no it looks OK. The case reference #s were not always stamped on the insides.

1. Regarding the movement, you'd need to open it as the 881 and 883 are interchangeable. If I were to guess, it's an 881. 2. Regarding value, it's always a tricky question, if it's "replacement value" you're looking for, i.e. "appraised value" then it will be on the high side of your scale, as that ...

Also, the bridge that says "Jaeger" on the movement is not of a frosted texture, whereas the rest of the movement is. I'm not sure I like that.

It is genuine, but to my eye, the dial looks refinished. Hard to say for sure w/o looking at it under magnification. No way you're taking a dial's clear coat off and having that end result.
