The factory does not have any records of the actual number of 6Bs delivered to the RAF.
The guesstimate you quote is from my book, it's for all 6Bs, not just 450/470.

Re: JLC 6B/159
The movement was made mid 1941 so the watch is probably around 1942.

Re: Can someone help identify this watch?
The movement was made around 1944, though it could have been cased up to 2-3 years later. 14k, USA market.
I do not know if it has a model name or not.

The front of the watch, you're only showing the dial.

USA market, 14k gold...I'd need to see a photo of the front and movement serial for any additional info.

Re: LeCoultre Reverso 1950s
The dial has been repainted, so I can't tell from what era it is, without a movement serial number or if it's US marked watch or European one.

Re: "Tymes" vintage watch?
It looks like 14k, you'd need to open it to confirm. It's a generic watch, maybe a jeweler name or a dept, store or something. It's not worth a whole lot more than scrap even though it may have sentimental value.

Re: I just inherited this watch
Well, I guess they can list it at whatever they want...on occasion you'll see an odd result come in like $950, but it's more like a $300-400 watch, running and needing nothing.

Re: I just inherited this watch
Dates to about 1946, it's gold filled and smallish so value isn't that high.

I don't have any specific info related to this model. All I can tell you is that it's 18k gold.
