Re: Information about vintage LeCoultre Bumper Automatic. Service?

It's a U.S.A. market watch, for which JLC Switzerland has no records. Sometimes, if there is a number. in addition to the case a serial number of the case back, that is the case reference. I can service your watch at approximately 1/3 of the factory cost, assuming no parts are required. See here: ht...

Re: Rare? Can't find one like it??

Any gold LeCoultre is "relatively rare" but it doesn't necessarily translate into huge dollar amounts. The dial on this watch has been refinished. Value is under $1000 in my opinion.

Re: 1950s Helbros 24 hour military watch

Hi, this isn't a military watch per se, but a "military-like" watch.

I would say spend your service money on a watch that has a higher value than this one as you'd be underwater if you ever decided to sell it.

Next one that comes in for repair, I will note what our shop used for the crystal.

Re: Memovox E875 - acrylic glass replacement

How do you know it's an original crystal is more my question. In my opinion, there is no way to tell, so best not to worry about it. If it clears the hands you are likely to have the right crystal profile anyway.
