Re: Geomatic hands

Good chance the old "dress style" Master Mariner will have the same hands. Other dress autos maybe as well.

I suspect JL will have the hands, and 70% chance on the dial. I'd only send it there if they have the dial though....if you're going to pay that much on their restoration.

Re: Geomatic hands

Yes, not correct. The cal 881/883 hands will fit and I'm pretty sure some no Geo dress watches have the same. I think for around 2500 Euro you'd get the service the hands and a dial. Question is, do they have an original dial? That I can't answer. If you have to go on the cheap, keep watching ebay, ...

Re: Geomatic hands

Can you post a photo? The hands may be the same as a cal 881/883 dress watch. So maybe you can find that and use those.

Re: JLC Master Mariner rare?

The serial you're giving is that of the case or the movement?

It's caliber 881 not 661.

Re: Valuation for this 24 hour JLC

I think it looks oK, crown my have been replaced. It's not a 24 hour movement, just a 24 hour dial.

About $1000-1200 maybe? I haven't had one in a while either.

Re: Help identifying vintage women's Le Coultre

I don't know the model name, if any.

From the box and appearance I'd date it to the late 1950s.

Re: JLC CAL. 469 lift angle

210 is acceptable, 165 sounds low. HOWEVER the watch may be in poor condition and a "service" i.e. clean / lube / regulate will not address possible existing wear & tear on the movement train or a balance wheel that is out of true, etc. 2.5ms beat error is a little high as well, but it's time consum...
