Re: Jumbo Memovox

Usually the center disk is the same color as the dial. It may be from a gold dial.

Re: Need help on identification

It's 18k gold, but I do not have any info on the model. It will not have a name, just a reference number.

Re: Need help identifying my vintage JLC

I think on a piece like that, the gold value will be the majority of the value. So maybe have it weighed with the movement still in, so how many grams it is, and that'll be your rough answer.

Re: Need help identifying my vintage JLC

It would be case reference 14201.21 I'm not sure it will have a model name.

Re: Estimate watch price

You will need to see if the inside of the case is stamped and is in fact a JLC made case. It doesn't appear to be made by JLC and neither does the bracelet....if it is not JLC made then it's scrap value of the gold + $300-400. It is is, then scrap value of bracelet + around $1000-1500. From the mark...

Re: caseback number and letter

So what do you think the top is made of? That "L" looks pretty faint. I'm not sure what it means.

On plated tops, the back usually says "Fond Acier Inoxydable" i.e. stainless steel BACK.
